"Buttermilk is a very mild bleaching agent. I do not know of a combination of buttermilk and horserelish, but I can recommend something a little different, which may or may not work.- 3 tbsp. pulverized bran
4 tbsp. buttermilk
Pulverize bran in blender and mix with buttermilk until it becomes a paste.Apply it on your face for 20 minutes and remove with warm water. Splash cool water and pat dry.
Lemon juice is known to be a stronger bleaching agent.Here is a lotion for freckles with it.
- 2 oz. fresh strained lemon juice
1 oz. light rum
1 tsp. glycerin
Shake together in small bottle and apply it freely with a cotton ball. (Please do not try to drink this, glycerin can act as a laxative!)
