This Is Who You Are

Quick Tip

*Dry and Brittle

If your hair is very dry and brittle, you might want to apply conditioner to your wet hair before you shampoo. It will help ensure that you don't wash out all of sebum that is so necessary to your hair.

*Fortifying Shampoo

These shampoos are often vitamin packed and claim to make your hair stornger and in a sense they do. What they are doing is filling and smoothing all those roughed up sections of your hair. What they can't do is nourish your hair. Every strand of hair that you can see is dead. The only way you can nouish your hair is by what you eat. These nutrients go straight to where your hair is actually being formed.

*How Much Is Too Much?

Do you know how much shampoo your hair needs to properly remove product buildup? It is different for everyone and using too much can actually accelerate the buildup. How often you shampoo also varies from person to person as well. If you don't need to shampoo more than once a week, that's okay.
