You have heard of artists using oils, pastels, chalk to create paintings. But what if I told you that there was an incredibly talented Canadian artist who used bubble gum... would you believe it?

While I can imagine landscapes might be possible with all of the various colors of gum on the market, that would be too easy for this artist. Jason Kronanwald creates portraits of blondes. I've seen several and I have to admit, I am amazed at what he has accomplished. The portrait that you see with this article shows just how talented this artist is.

So who is his biggest fans? The kids who chew the gum for him. When I asked him about his gum chewers, he told me that a friend of his owns a karate school and all the kids are supplied with gum. They are quite happy to chew it and then leave it behind after class. What a lucky bunch of kids!
