How To Create a 'Flowerchild' Face

A flowerchild was all things natural, but it didn't mean that she would give up her makeup. It was simply applied to make the most of what she had... innocence.

Difficulty: N/A

Time Required: N/A

Here's How:

1.   Cleanse face and apply moisturizer.

2.   If you need foundation, do so, but if you don't, skip this step. We want a clean, fresh face for this look.

3.   Apply a soft blue frosted eyeshadow over the entire lid. Light hand needed here. (See tip #1)

4.   Now add a touch of green shadow on the center of the lid.

5.   A bright blue eyeliner will brighten the whites of the eyes, so outline the entire eye at the lashline.

6.   A darker shade of blue shadow is used at the outer corner of the eye, top and bottom.

7.   Coat lashes with black mascara.

8.   Apply a pink blusher to your cheekbones. The color should be soft, but visible.

9.   Everyone in the 70's owned a pale pink lipstick. Do NOT apply with a light hand.

Tips:

  1. It might sound odd to use a frosted blue shadow but it was very popular in the 70's and it did give an air of innocence.

What You Need:

  • moisturizer
  • frosted blue eyeshadow
  • bright blue eye liner
  • darker blue shadow
  • pink blush
