Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz
This was a fun costume and since I bought most of it at a thrift store it was fairly easy to put together. I sprayed the shoes with Spray Mount artist's adhesive and stuck red glitter to them. The dress was a house dress that I picked up at the thrift store and just had to hem the skirt shorter. I did buy the apron new, but got one that matched my kitchen so that I could use it later. I had the basket and borrowed the stuffed Toto, who peeks out, from my niece. My hair was long enough to braided so with a lot of blush for my cheeks a little glossy lipstick and some fairly heavy eye makeup, I became Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.
