Debbie McKee... After 30 Years

After thirty years of wearing her hair long, Debbie decided to take the plunge and have it cut. Personally, I think she made a great decision. Short hair definitely suits her bone structure.

Today's Beauty Tips For Your Hair

What Are Pomades?

Be sure to read the container for instructions. Lot can be added to wet or dry hair. This product will smooth the frizzies or flyaways in seconds flat. You want shine? Pomades can help here too.

Did you know that a dab of moisturizer rubbed between your palms and smoothed over your strands will stop the frizzies in their tracks.

*Is He/She Asking the Right Questions

When you go to a salon for a consultation, the stylist should ask you how long you spend on your hair each day, how well you can handle a blow-dryer or curling iron/brush and how many styling products you use. These are all important questions when looking for the perfect style for you. If she doesn't ask, be sure to tell her... or look for another salon.

Every once in a while I find a product that I love. Usually, it comes to me, "word of mouth". If someone you know, raves about a product, by all means check it out. That is the best recommendation in my mind.

*More Help With Dandruff

It is often thought that dandruff is a sign of dry skin and moisturizing products are chosen to combat the problem. Unfortunately, dandruff is often a sign of too much oil, not too little. Another mistake that is often made is to restrict the number of times a week you shampoo your hair.
