How To Create 'Night on the Town' Face

The makeup that you wear to the office is not the look that you want for evening. Here are some easy steps to create a special look for evening.

Here's How:

1.   Wash face. You don't want to add new makeup to old.

2.   Apply moisturizer and foundation as you would normally do.

3.   Choose silvery shadow colors for night time glamor. Silvery blues, pinks and plums look gorgeous.

4.   Liner should be intense. Charcoal or black works well.

5.   Highlighter should be a shimmery white. During the day I usually choose an ivory but at night, I reach for white.

6.   Apply a dark colored mascara... in layers.

7.   Lips: Find the perfect red or burgundy for evening. Lips at night should be a little darker and richer than what you would wear for your day look.

8.   Retractable lip brushes are ideal for picking up enough lipstick for a second application during the evening. No need to worry about losing the entire tube.

9.   Now check to see how much blush you need to balance everything!

10.   Blotting papers are a must. It takes about a second to remove excess oil from a shiny forehead or nose.

11.   A powder compact will also work to control oil during the evening and is easy to carry in any evening bag.
