Q. Why doesn't a fragrance smell the same on everyone?

A.

A lot of different factors comes into play.

  • Unique body odors affects the scent. As you age, this also makes a difference. This explains why an older woman suddenly finds that a scent she has been wearing for years, suddenly doesn't appeal to her.

  • The food that you eat will also affect the scent. If you are a vegetarian, the scent will smell differently than if you consumed a high fat or spicy diet.

  • The medications you are on, will also affect the scent.
