How To Tricks to Help Maintain Your Weight All Summer Long

Barbecues, ice cream, hot dogs, all the things you eat all summer long can pile on the calories. Here is a few ways to help keep the weight off.

Difficulty: N/A

Time Required: n/a

Here's How:

1.   Go for long walks in the evenings. Admire gardens, meet the neighbors, and burn calories at the same time. It is such a simple thing, but the rewards are obvious.

2.   Try to avoid eating more than one hot dog or hamburger at a time. The buns will be your downfall. There are a lot of calories packed into each bun.

3.   Instead of ice cream, stock up on frozen yogurt.

4.   Go to the beach or the pool at every opportunity. It is a great way to burn calories and probably the most fun. And, it's easy on the joint.

5.   Gardening not only burns calories, but you have a gorgeous garden to show for the effort. My daughter worked at a garden center all summer and you wouldn't believe her waistline.

6.   Invest in a simple skipping rope and start skipping. It is a lot harder than it was when you were a kid, so you MUST be burning a lot of calories.

7.   Avoid TV as much as possible. The more time you spend outside, the more calories you are likely to burn.
