How To Seasons Eatings... At Home

It's one thing to control your sweet tooth at a party, but what about when you are at home and no one is around? What do you do then?

Difficulty: N/A

Time Required: N/A

Here's How:

1.   Keep a candy dish of plain white mints. One will last a long time and actually curb your appetite/craving. And, they aren't so exotic as to make you eat more than one at a time. Not like chocolate.

2.   Keep lots of soda water in the refrigerator. It is so versatile. An amazingly small amount of fruit juice will flavor the soda water, or perhaps you would prefer a wedge of lemon or lime. I've tried both.

3.   Non-fat yogurt is also something that you should stock up on. Not only are they better than ever (flavor-wise), they fill you up long enough to get you past your cravings.

4.   Exercise more. It's as simple as that. The calories you burn, gives a little leeway if you happen to fall off the calorie watching wagon.

5.   Low calorie hot chocolate is a must in our house. In the evening while we are watching a movie (and everyone else is snacking) a cup of hot chocolate can be sipped and sipped and sipped. Works for me.

6.   I happen to love egg nog, but we all know how many calories a glass full of nog contains. But I do allow myself ONE carton of the non fat variety. There are calories of course, but I savor every sip. Afterall, it's the holidays.
