Losing weight quickly isn't going to work. You have to spend time at this and learn a few new habits while dropping a few old ones. Here is a quick way to start.
- Buy yourself a pedometer. The one I am presently using is by Sportline and was incredibly inexpensive. Every time you get bored and snacking begins to play on your mind, clock a few steps and burn some calories.
- If there is junk food in your room, get rid of it. A bowl of fresh fruit can be an alternative, if you are serious about shedding a few pounds.
- Make simple changes in your eating habits. If you are used to cream in your coffee or worse... slowly switch down to whole milk until you can drink it with skim. And if sugar is an issue, slowly start adding less and less.
*Start with what is painless and then slowly start with the desserts.
- Another trick that works for me is sugarless gum. Did you know that while you are chewing away, not only are you cleaning your teeth, you are burning calories.
