To Do List For August

What's on your list. I'll bet its none of these!

Most of the items on to-do lists are work oriented. Not this list. I'm going to help you incorporate some fun things into your day. Okay a few items are for your own good, but they do not include emptying the garbage.

*Spend 30 minutes a day participating in some sort of exercise. As one who does not enjoy exercise, I know from experience that it needs to be something that you are going to enjoy. Going for long walks, admiring the countryside works for me. So does bellydancing. Going to the gym doesn't... but that's a personal thing. Find what works for you and get moving.

*Find something that will make you laugh. We don't do nearly enough of that. It could be a comedy on TV that you enjoy or the comics. And then there are all the humor sites on the Net. No reason not to walk around all day without a grin on your face.

*Keep a glass/bottle of water as you watch TV or work at the computer. It will save on snacking and we seldom drink all the water we should.

*Spend time with a good book each day. When I was a kid, I lived to read but as my life became more complicated, reading was low on my list. Not anymore. That's how I start my day. There are so many good novels out there. Treat yourself.

*Sort through your cosmetics. I'm sure that there is something in there that is well past its expiry date.
