I’ll never forget years ago in the summer I turned 17. I had such long, beautiful blonde tresses, yet for some reason I felt the need for some kind of a change. Pat Benatar was all over the radio that summer, so I figured I would ask for a “Pat Benatar” haircut. And I got it, but it didn’t look as good on me as it looked on Pat! And my hair was so short!! I was sitting with my best friend in the passenger’s seat of her car. Her bf and his friend were walking up behind her car and saw the back of my head in the car. He asked her bf, “Who’s the dude w/ your gf?” Ouch! My hair was so short I looked like a freaking guy!!!! Yikes! I never again cut my hair that short!
