Magic Mitt by Iredale Mineral Cosmetics
Did you know that there is a mitt that can actually remove an entire day's worth of grime and makeup and you don't even have to use a cleanser? I have used products such as this to remove makeup and it worked like a charm. But I still used cleanser! The sample offered by Iredale Mineral Cosmetics, said that cleanser wasn't necessary, but I wanted to check it out for myself. I followed the instructions which were simply to totally saturate the mitt with warm water and then use as a cleansing cloth. I did just that and then looked at the mitt. Sure enough there was all my makeup. To clean the mitt, instructions tell you to add a little handsoap and wash until all the makeup rinses away. That worked too.

The final test was to use my toner that would show if any makeup was still on my skin and sure enough... my skin was clean. I would however not get into the habit of skipping cleanser each time you wash your face. This could be a bad habit to get into if you reach for a regular face cloth instead of this special mitt. But in a pinch, it's nice to know that you can still get your face clean. How great would that be if you find yourself on holiday and you forgot to pack your cleanser!
