How to Soften Dry, Cracked Feet

Dry, cracked feet are never sexy. While this tends to be a summer hazard, it can happen all year-round. If you can't afford a fish pedicure, get rid of dry heel syndrome with this 5-step process I cobbled together and use myself from time-to-time.

You can skip parts of this process if you choose. If you continue to wear the foot mask every night for a week, your problems should be solved.

Get the 5-step process in the article, How to Soften Dry, Cracked Feet.

I use a pumice stone every night in shower, then before bed I use Vaseline Cream, never have any more problems with crack heels.

I got this wonderful creme from my podiatrist. Let me tell you I have the most awful skin on my heels, so bad they used to crack and bleed. No walking for me. This stuff is wonderful!!! It is called Foot Miracle, you may need to see a “foot doc” to get it, But try. Their phone number is 1-800-827-9815. All the best to you beauties out there.

I chronically suffer from dry feet and callouses — thankfully it never gets to the cracked stage. But I just wanted to add it’s much easier to do this regularly, like every few days to weekly. Then you’re not fighting with a thick layer of dead skin. Also this regimen also can help reduce athletes foot because you’re cleansing your feet regularly, removing the affected skin.

I suffer from dry and calloused feet and agree that your process works well. I’d suggest 1x a week or maybe every few days, so you don’t have a built up layer of dead skin. Also helps reduce athletes foot due to the regular washing.
