Day 1 of My 100-Day Cleanse & I Fall Off the Wagon

For those of you who get my newsletter, you know I started a cleanse last week. It's the Gwyneth Paltrow-endorsed "Clean Program" and I was, quite frankly, scared to try it. No caffeine, sugar, wheat or dairy for 21 days. Breakfast is a protein shake, lunch a super-healthy meal and dinner another protein shake. Plus, there's loads of vitamins in pill form to take at every meal. At the end of it, I'm supposed to feel like a new woman, 10 pounds lighter with all the body's toxins flushed down the toilet.

Because cleanses are super trendy right now, I wanted to try one and write about it. Also, I knew I might fall off the wagon unless I had readers following my every move, so I'm keeping a diary of the cleanse. And I'm being totally honest. No one is endorsing me to try this and write about it.

So check out my intro, then find out how I fell off the wagon the first day. (Yes, McDonald's is involved, I'm ashamed to admit).

Thanks for asking! I’ve got about 6 days left and I feel AMAZING. I have tons of energy, I feel skinny and gorgeous. I lost 6 pounds already and I’ve adopted some eating habits that I’ll keep after this is over. I do allow myself a minor cheat here and there because I’m a bad girl at heart (not really). But I do have the occasional bite of ice cream. For the most part, I’ve been very good though. I think you are going to be very pleased with the results. I’ve got others hooked on it too. Also, I figured out the cost of the Cleanse adds up to what I usually spend on breakfast and dinners (I live in NY and eat out most meals, bad, huh?). Let me know how it goes. Julyne

(4) master cleanse recipe :

I suffered from stomach pain and burning mostly, couldn’t sleep well and just hated those extra pounds I couldn’t get rid of no matter what I did. Now I stumbled upon this system that is easy and it doesn’t require expensive medication or difficult exercises.
