My friend Martha wrote such a cute essay on piercing her daughter's ears (well, one of her ears) that I had to share it with you guys. Since I don't think I could ever pierce an ear, this was my favorite part of the story:
"Sit still!" I said.
She screamed. Then I screamed. We were like this: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

hahaha tt’s so cute! i was 5 when i had my ears peirced for my birthday and i remember the people at the market place nearby turning their heads to see who the little girl making that loud screaming noise was!!! i had to come back the next day to get my other ear peirced !! haha it was definitely ear peircing
