Yes, You Should Buy the Ped Egg

Monday August 11, 2008
Everyone is talking about the Ped Egg. My friend Dania and I were in Rite Aid and she spotted a pile of them and she couldn't believe she could buy them at Rite Aid, "I was going to buy one online this weekend!" she said. Then there were the two girls in the elevator talking about the Ped Egg (thank God the men in the elevator seemed oblivious). And today, I read in Marie Claire that Jin Soon Choi, manicurist to the stars, even recommends them.

I am the proud owner of a Ped Egg (see my blog post from May) and I have to say, it is everything it's hyped to be. My one warning is take it easy with the scrubbing and don't go overboard because you can remove too much skin. Buy them at department stores or online for about $10.

Ped Egg, girlfriend gave me one, greatest thing since sliced bread, nicer is that all the dead skin, doesn’t go over the bed, floor etc, nicely trapped, joy to use and does it work. Easy to use, small and compact. One can throw out all the others scrapers one has.

I bought one and wasn’t too pleased with it; I think I was afraid it would scrape off too much skin, so I was too gentle with it. When my daughter said it was terrific, back out to Rite-Aid, but this time I got the man-sized one. It seems to cover more area and I am able to handle it much better. A very good thing to have, regardless of which one you buy.

Ped egg is a waste of time for the truly active woman. That means some one who jogs,, beach runs, cycles, steps and spins. That’s the short list. And esp. prefers walking barefoot.
Ped eggs have nothing on the good ol’ pumice stone.
Faster, easier & far more consistent in the overall surface smoother department, the pumice gets my and my active girl friends votes.
Pumices will smooth a callous with out removing the reason for which it is there. That means? No blisters underneath a callous.
A condition that can occur with even the best of shoes and/or orthotics. I give this product two big toes down.
