I love the IDEA of mineral makeup. I bought some and found that it finds every little wrinkle or crepey spot on my face and magnifies it 10 fold. HOW do you counter that? I pile on moisturizer before and that help a little bit, but still it frightens me to look in the mirror after swirling the mineral makeup on. It does give a natural smooth look which I love. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate them! (I am in my early 40’s and with very few wrinkles, but some under my eyes - esp. when I smile).

The most simple way to stop the enhancement of any wrinkle is to use a primer. most mineral companies worth a grain of salt will have a primer. this is basically the filler, and creates a blank canvas for you to start with. if you cant find one, use a good facial moisturizer. let it soak in, then start with your foundation. after applying if you still have noticeable enhancement…use your ring finger to smudge it. try switching to a smaller brush around your eyes. another thing you can do is take alil bit of your foundation and mix it with just a smidgen of water to create a paste and then apply like you would with any other store bought foundation. as with all minerals, you can apply wet or dry. Hope that helped.
