Nicole Richie's Adorable Braids

Now that former bad girl Nicole Richie is a mom, the media has embraced her and her bundle of joy with Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden. Now instead of harking on her skeletal bikini clad bod (her flappy legs made our Worst Beauty 2006 list), the media is busy praising her for her hair.

Here Richie is looking adorably summery in braids. I came up with this idea (side braids plus bun) a couple years ago and I didn't quite pull it off like she does here. From the front the braids stuck uncomfortably out, so I suggest if you are going to try this look to start the braid a bit back from the face as Richie does.
