New York Magazine has an online wedding section that's full of classy tips and tricks, interviews with the country's hottest event planners, cake decorators and wedding dress designers. This year's wedding section has a great list of beauty dos & don'ts for the bride. Most of the don'ts involve over-doing the spray tan, the eye makeup and the teeth whitening.

In my spray tanning studio I have spray tanned many brides. There is nothing worse than an overdone bride and deathly white groom. So go lightly on both to make them a matching pair.
When it comes to spray tan, get a clear variety. If spray tan solution has any bronzer in it it will get into your pores and even if you have a shower before you put on your dress, it will probably stain it when you sweat and your pores release the bronzer.
