When I was introduced to Dr. Brandt's anti-oxidant water booster when it came out on the market in March, 2006, I was skeptical. The tea tasted great, but was there really proven benefits to drinking the equivalent of 15 cups of green tea a day, even if it didn't contain caffeine? It seemed to me the sort of hyped-up beauty must companies push on people frightened out of their minds of aging. According to Brandt, the powerful antioxidants fight free radical damage and keep skin youthful. I wasn't so sure, and decided not to write about it until the product proved to stand the test of time.
Well, it has. Madonna supposedly drinks two dropper-fuls a day, several beauty editors I know of swear by it and the product sold out the same day it was introduced in Paris. While I haven't tried it myself (as a low-maintenance person, I'm already overwhelmed with my daily multi-vitamins, Omega 3 pills and Retin-A habit), I feel confident letting you all know about it.
