Veronica Lake's 40's-inspired curls are hugely popular right now. But how to get them? I found out the secret today: The Hot Tools Helix Adjustawave curling iron, which gives hair shallow or deep waves with a simple adjustment of the barrel. But before you curl, you need to set the curl with a good styling lotion or spray, like Bumble & Bumble's styling spray.

The new bed head curling iron works really well too
I like the John Frieda Brunette Brilliant Waves spray. Helps hair stay soft, shiny and holds the waves!
Cheers!
I’m normally a fan of your column, but I wanted to let you know that there isn’t a pic on any of the sites to buy the curling iron. I don’t want to buy something I can’t even see– and for $60!
Thank goodness for changing trends! My hair naturally has Veronica waves when I blow dry it (it is even curlier when I let it dry naturally.) I have been suffering great insecurities during the unfortunate trend of ultra straight hair. Hooray for waves and curls! Now if only Rubenesque models become the rage, I would be a goddess of style!
CeeJay:
Go to beautymotion.com and search for the iron there. They have a picture and it’s $49.99 instead of $63.00.
