A Cure for Cellulite?
Friday July 14, 2006
Around 70 percent of women over age 30 have cellulite. With so many women suffering from it (I saw an unedited photo of Uma Thurman's leg and it was covered in cottage cheese), you would think science could come up with a cure. Many companies tout lotions and machines which will cure you of cellulite. But don't believe these tricks. Here's the facts on 4 options people swear by:
1. Caffeine-laden lotions. Dermatologists are doubtful these work. They might tighten the skin a bit, but they won't dissolve the fatty tissue that causes the cottage cheese look.
2. Endermologie. This rolling machine massages the skin. Results don't last long, I've read.
3. Exercise. Yes, you could tone the muscles just under the skin, but this will take months and the results aren't dramatic.
4. Self-tanner. This is my favorite because it's cheap, doesn't require sweat and the results won't rid you of cellulite, but will successfully mask it.
I just wish the lipo needle could reach just under the skin and suck up all those fat pockets. You?

I am sure Uma is thrilled about you ratting her out.
I am not skinny now but even when I weighed 110 pounds and was seriously underweight in highschool I had cellulite. Excercise firms me up but never gets rid of my cellulite.
