When you get your hair cut, colored, blown-out & shampooed, how much to tip? And what if there are several different people involved from assistants to the main stylist? You are expected to tip 15-20 percent to the stylist & $5 to each individual who shampoos and/or blows out your hair. The same rule applies to your manicurist, your aesthetician & anyone who spends time making you look beautiful (at a cost). They get 15-20 percent as well.

Are you supposed to tip your aesthetician for laser hair removal at a spa? If so, how much? They have a new person every week so do you give 20% for all 8 sessions?
I bought the package at 50% off so are you supposed to tip for what it would have been or for what you actually paid? And are you supposed to divide the tip per treatment since she has a new person every week?
If I go to the owner of a hair salon, do I tip the owner for his cut or color? At one time, I was told you didn’t tip the owner of an establishment.
We charge 15$ a hair cut that money doesn’t go to us it goes to the salon we get a paycheck every 2 weeks just like you guys and we make an hourly rate usually and not much more than minimum wage at that!! We live on our tips and our pay checks go to hills .. Anything under 5 is an insult to us . If are a regular client and we know you top like crap you haircut will be rushed , we are going you mediocre service for your mediocre tip, we won’t go the extra mile . We are a fast pace business and with that bing said we make money depend inch on how much work we do, we won’t take as much care to someone who is. 3$ tipper vs 6$ tipper .. Granted u will still get a good hair cut , but we won’t go the extra mile -12 years a hairstylist
